The state of Georgia is offering tax credits for setting up telecommuting programs. Find our more at the Clean Air Campaign website.
Cities and states should be very aggressive in encouraging telecommuting and coordinating with employers. It is (or would have been) invaluable during a crisis, such as right after Katrina, when gas shortages caused all sorts or problems. Instead, the state of Georgia closed schools - forcing many to telecommute without any planning.
