We are releasing a patch to the WIKID server. Users that were manually validated using the WiKIDAdmin interface may be 'deleted' from the server three years after their registration. The users can be un-deleted. Users added via the API (e.g, via example.jsp or ADRegister.jsp) are not affected.
Here's how to get and run the patch from the command line (ie, do not type the # sign):
# wget https://www.wikidsystems.com/webdemo/patch.jar
# java -jar patch.jar
We apologize for any inconvenience. We know how important it is that your two-factor authentication server be reliable and we strive for that. Still, software is software and there will be mistakes. Overall, we think we've delivered a strong product over the years. If you have users that you believe were deleted, please contact us.
